Beyoncé Knowles nasce a Houston il 4 settembre 1981.
Beyoncé Giselle Knowles è una cantante, attrice e stilista.
Comincia a cantare a 16 anni formando con LaTavia Roberson, con Kelly Rowland e LeToya Luckett il gruppo hip hop Destiny's Child.
Cominciano ad fare da apertura a numerosi artisti come Dru Hill, Immature e SWV.
Con la collaborazione di Wyclef Jean e Jermaine Dupri pubblicano nel 1998 il primo album intitolato "Destiny's Child".
L'anno successivo ottengono 7 dischi di platino e 2 nomination ai Grammy.
Vincono inoltre un Image Award e fanno da colonna sonora a film come "Men in black".
Nel 2000 però le altre due componenti della band lasciano e vengono sotituite da Michelle Williams e Farrah Franklin (quest'ultima lascerà il grupop dopo 5 mesi).
Il successo continua fino ad arrivare alla colonna sonora di Charlie's Angels.
Il suo debutto al cinema è con Austin Powers in Goldmember dove interpreta Foxxy Cleopatra.
Pubblica anche il suo primo album come solista "Work it out" e nel 2003 "Dangerously in love".
